High School to the Pros Pitch Competition Returns for Its Third Edition, Showcasing Student Entrepreneurs

T he High School to the Pros Student Pitch Competition is back for its third edition, bringing together some of the most promising young innovators from across three schools in a week-long showcase of creativity, resilience, and entrepreneurial thinking.

What began as an initiative to give students a platform to test their ideas in real-world scenarios has grown into a highly anticipated event, one that continues to spotlight the next generation of founders and problem-solvers.

This year’s competition kicks off on May 7 at the Walker Career Center (Warren Central High School), before moving to North Central High School from May 11–12, and concluding at Lawrence Central and Lawrence North High Schools from May 12–15.

Across these locations, students will present business ideas they have spent months developing, transforming concepts from notebooks into fully formed pitches.

From refining business models to preparing for tough questions, participants have undergone an intensive process designed to mirror real entrepreneurial journeys.

The competition is more than just winning. It’s about exposure, confidence, and the ability to communicate ideas effectively in front of an audience. Each pitch represents not just a business concept, but a student’s commitment to problem-solving and innovation.

As the competition unfolds, judges will evaluate presentations based on creativity, feasibility, and delivery, ultimately selecting standout ideas that demonstrate both potential and impact.

Now in its third year, High School to the Pros continues to build momentum, reinforcing its mission to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application.

As students take the stage across the three schools, one thing is certain: this isn’t just another week, it’s a defining moment for young entrepreneurs stepping into rooms their ideas were always meant for.
